Warranty, Terms and Conditions
WARRANTY
Advance Tabco® warrants all of its products, to the original owner, to be free of manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, 1 year from purchase date.
This warranty applies only under normal residential use. Advance Tabco’s warranty does not cover product failure or damage due to abusive treatment, misuse, environmental factors, improper care and cleaning or damage due to handling of faulty installation.
Advance Tabco® takes pride in the quality and workmanship of its products. Should a defect be detected, we may choose (upon inspection) to either repair or replace the item. In no event would the cost of this obligation exceed the total selling price of the item.
This warranty obligation does not include transportation or installation labor costs.
WARRANTY NOTIFICATION PROCEDURE:
Should a defect be detected, a Customer Service representative must be notified immediately!
THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION MUST BE PROVIDED FOR WARRANTY CONSIDERATION:
• Advance Tabco order number.
• Distributor purchase order number.
• Date purchased.
• Date item was received.
• What the defect is.
• An “RA” (Return Authorization) number is required to return any item to Advance Tabco.
• A customer Service Representative will be will be happy to assist you with setting up an “RA” Number if needed. • Advance Tabco reserves the right to inspect any item before warranty service is applied.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
All previous prices and discounts are hereby withdrawn
• All prices are F.O.B. Factory.
• All prices, specifications and discounts subject to change without notice. Prices listed herein do not include federal excise, municipal or other use tax.
• Orders that are shipped to an active construction site or residential address are subject to additional charges by the carrier. These charges may be applied after shipment.
• Not responsible for any damage while in hands of carrier. Inspect immediately for hidden damage. (For any damage and loss while in transit, promptly file claim against carrier.)
• Merchandise shipped open account to those firms furnishing satisfactory credit references. Terms are 1% Discount - 10 Days; Net - 30 Days.
• Quotations, unless otherwise stated, are for 60 day acceptance.
• Returns: A 30% handling charge will be applied to all authorized returns. Minimum charge $50.00. Equipment older than 90 days is not eligible for returns.
• A 50% handling charge will be applied to all unauthorized returns.
• Orders for special items are not subject to cancellation without our written consent.
• Our consent must be obtained before defective merchandise is returned. Incoming freight or express charges may be collected and exchanged items will be shipped prepaid.
• On return shipments that we sanction, where orders have been correctly filled out and not defective, the incoming freight or express charges must be prepaid. Credit will then be
issued, less a reasonable handling charge and less whatever expense is necessary to put goods in salable condition.
• We are not responsible for any delays in delivery which are beyond our control such as fires, strikes, delays in transportation or any contingencies of similar character.
• All orders subject to acceptance at our office.
• Possession of Price Guide does not constitute an offer to sell.
• Minimum charge on all orders is $50.00 Net.
GENERAL SHIPPING INFORMATION
• We reserve the right to ship via carriers that in our opinion are the most efficient. We will follow Customers routing if possible. • Unless specified, all orders shipped freight collect.
• All “Drop Shipments” will be shipped “Prepaid & Charge”.
• Shipper is not responsible for any unauthorized accessorial charges. All charges will be billed back to customer.
PREPAID FREIGHT CHARGES
• Minimum ups charge = $20.00.
• Estimated freight charges added to an invoice will include a nominal administrative charge per freight bill. Estimated shipping weights are to serve as a guide only!
• Weights are averaged for all models within a given classification. Actual shipping weights may vary from those shown. Correct weight will be shown on your bill of lading.
